Efficacy Analysis of Escitalopram and Venlafaxine in the Treatment of Senile Anxiety Disorder

摘　　要：Objective: to further improve the curative effect of treating senile anxiety disorder, reduce adverse reactions and enhance safety. Methods: 68 elderly patients with anxiety disorder who were treated in Luoyang Rongkang Hospital from January 2020 to November 2021 were randomly divided into 34 cases in each group. The venlafaxine treatment group was set as the control group, and the escitalopram treatment group was set as the observation group. Before and after treatment, Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) was used to evaluate their emotional state. After treatment, statistics were made to evaluate the treatment effect. Results: before treatment, there was no significant difference in HAMA scores between the observation group and the control group (P > 0.05), but after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment, the HAMA scores in the observation group were lower, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05), but after 4 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference in anxiety scores between the two groups (P > 0.05). Taking the curative effect ratio as the evaluation index, the curative effect of the control group (94.12%) and the observation group (97.06%) were higher, but the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). In terms of adverse reactions, the adverse reactions in the observation group (5.88%) were lower than those in the control group (23.53%), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: both methods can achieve good results, but compared with the former, the former has fewer adverse reactions, higher safety and higher popularization value.
