Application of 1H-MRS in Diagnosis and Subtype Classification of Meningioma

摘  要:Objective: to explore the application effect of proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) in the diagnosis and subtype classification of meningioma. Methods: from March 2021 to March 2022, 80 patients with meningioma confirmed by pathology were divided into benign meningioma and malignant meningioma according to the nature of the disease. 1H-MRS examination was performed on the patients, and the relative concentrations of N- acetylaspartic acid (NAA), choline (Cho), creatine and creatine phosphate (Cr) were observed. The ratios of NAA/Cr, Cho/Cr and NAA/Cho were calculated. Meanwhile, the indexes among the pathological types of benign meningiomas and the results of pairwise comparison of the indexes among the pathological types of benign meningiomas were observed. At the same time, the Cho/Cr ratio, the integrated optical density of Ki-67 and the MRS manifestations of meningiomas were observed. Results: ① the Cho concentration and Cho/Cr ratio of malignant patients were significantly higher, while the Cr concentration was significantly lower, with significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05);the NAA concentration, NAA/Cho and NAA/Cr of the two groups showed no difference (P>0.05). ② There were significant differences in Cr concentration, NAA/Cr, Cho/Cr and NAA/Cho among pathological types in benign group (P < 0.05);however, the concentration of NAA and Cho showed no difference (P>0.05). ③ The concentrations of Cr in fiber type and meningeal endothelium type, meningeal endothelium type and sand body type all show different levels, and the differences among the three groups are significant. The NAA/Cho concentrations of fiber type and sand body type, meningeal endothelium type and sand body type all show different levels, and the differences among the three groups are significant. ④ Cho/Cr ratio and Ki-67 integral optical density of benign meningiomas were significantly lower than those of malignant meningiomas (P<0.05).
