摘　　要：The proposal and implementation of "the integration of production and education" is a major driving force of Chinas modern education reform. While cultivating high quality, the welding major should also meet the needs of the current welder career development in China, actively promote the cooperation among production, education, schools and enterprises and provide a better platform for welding graduates to practice their skills. In this paper, the problems existing in the current teaching mode of welding specialty are analyzed and the optimization countermeasures of personnel training in colleges and universities under the background of integration of production and education are discussed so as to cultivate more highly skilled talents through the effective implementation of "integration of production and education".
