摘　　要：商务交际中频繁使用模糊语言,这种用法可以被分为两种情况,即非故意使用和故意使用,文章的研究重点是后者。写信者使用模糊语言是为了顺应不同的语境及不同的写信目的。由文中的分析我们可以得出结论:模糊语言是写信者进行语言选择和语言顺应的结果,它是写信者在商务交际中为了实现交际意图采用的一项交际策略。Vague language is frequently used in business communication.The uses can be divided into two types:non-deliberate use and deliberate use.The current thesis focuses on the deliberate use of vague language by the addresser to help him fulfill certain communicative intentions.From the detailed analysis we can arrive at a conclusion that vague language is a result of linguistic choice and linguistic adaptation;it is a communicative strategy employed by the addresser to realize his communicative intention.
