因特网对汉英翻译实践的影响

摘　　要：传统的汉英翻译实践大多过于依赖翻译者个人翻译能力。随着上个世纪八、九十年代因特网(Internet)的兴起后使得新世纪的翻译工作从翻译的内容、翻译质量到翻译的技巧和手段都产生了根本性的转变。利用因特网来辅助汉英翻译实践,同时借助网络辅助翻译实践也存在局限性。Traditional C/E translation is heavily dependent on the translator' s ability in the process of translation. However, with the rapid development of Internet in 1980s and 1990s, the procedures for translation and related techniques are varied accordingly. This paper explores the potential benefits of internet - assisted C/E translation along with its limitations.
