摘　　要：本文认为 ,在奥尼尔的悲剧中存在着一个飘忽的家园。它由三个部分构成 :一、宗教意义上的精神得救。二、人性意义上的情感诉求。三、无限意义上的“天边外”。由于悲剧中来自人本身和生存本身否定力量的巨大 ,所以家园显得飘忽而微弱。但它的存在毕竟给悲剧带来亮光 ,同时表达了奥尼尔对终极价值的执着态度。This paper argues that there is a homeland in O'Neill's tragedies. It consists of three parts: the first one is the spiritual salvation, the second is the pursuit of affection in human nature and the third is the indefinitely 'beyond the horizon' .The existence of a homeland has expressed O'Neill's steadfast searching for the ultimate value and presented some hopes in his tragedies.
