摘　　要：本文从基础素质教育、信息科学知识教育、计算机与数据库知识教育、专业知识与相关学科教育四方面,谈高校图书情报工作人员在新的机遇和挑战面前接受继续教育的必要性。In the paper, we discussed the necessity of further education of the academic librarians. From four aspects: fundamental qualitative, information technology, computer and database and relevant specialized knowledge, we discussed respectively. The challenge and opportunity that the academic librarians faced are presented as well.
