摘　　要：文章讨论了知识革命的概念和知识革命在人类社会发展中的作用,提出了知识革命才是真正导致社会发生深层次变化并推动社会向前发展的观点。作者强调指出:在知识经济社会里,高等教育必须改革传统的教育模式,积极推行素质教育;当代大学生应当以积极的姿态迎接知识革命和知识经济的挑战,全面提高自身素质,为将来勇敢而成功地肩负起建设国家的历史重任奠定坚实基础。This paper discusses the concept of knowledge revolution and its funtion in the devel-opment of human society and comes up with the view that it is the knowledge revolution that re-sults in the deepening changes in the society and pushes ahead the progress of the society.The author reiterates that in the knowledge-based society,higher education should reform the tradition-al educational model and spare no efforts to promote quality education;university students in mod-ern times should take an initiative t...
