共同缅彝语韵类刍论  

On Rhymes of the Common Burman-Yi Language

摘　　要：本文通过大体上涵盖缅彝语支语言特点的２０多种语言或方言的比较研究，提 出共同缅彝语韵类管见：阴声１０韵，阳声１２韵，入声１４韵（各分长短），总共３６韵。 缅彝语古入声韵元音分长短（长入和短入）是本文的一个特点。文章给出各个韵类在 各语言中反映的主要形式，可窥见共同缅彝语韵母发展变化的大致情形。Based on comparative study of more than 20 Burman-Yi languages and dialects, the author make a suggestion that there should be 10 rhymes with vowel ending or without any endings, 12 rhymes with nasal endings and 14 rhymes with stop endings. Each rhyme with stop ending should be divided into two, one with long vowel and the other with short. The main forms of the rhymes in these Burman-Yi languages are pointed out in the paper.
