摘　　要：周立波是现代中国文学史上具有影响的外国文学翻译家。本文认为,置身于上海"亭子间"的周立波,能以外国文学译介名世,既因为他拥有翻译外国文学的外语能力,更是为了谋生的需要,从而在社会学的视野中重新解读了周立波从事外国文学译介的缘由和动机。Zhou Libo is a good translator of foreign literature in the history of modern Chinese literature.This article holds that Zhou Li-bo exposure to Shanghai 'Tingzijian' was well-known in the world by translations of foreign literature,not only because he has foreign language ability to translate foreign literature,but also to the need to make a living.The paper re-interprete the cause and motive of Zhou Li-bo's the translations of foreign literature from a sociological perspective.
