摘　　要：等值问题是翻译理论探讨和实践中的核心问题。翻译的复杂性决定翻译等值的相对性。本文着重从三个方面分析影响翻译等值的诸多因素,以求更加客观辨证地认识翻译等值的相对性。The concept of translation equivalence(TE) has long been an essential issue in translation theory and practice.The complexity of translation presents the fact that we can never approach the issue metaphysically but dialectically.After exploring the factors affecting translation equivalence,the paper advances the relativity of TE,i.e.,we should pursue the highest degree of equivalence rather than the so-called perfect or full equivalence.
