摘 要:通过问卷调查,定量分析了歧义容忍度的高低对外语阅读策略选择的影响。研究结果显示,歧义容忍度高低不同的外语学习者在词汇的选择注意、归纳文章主题以及阅读技巧的灵活运用等阅读策略的使用上有着显著差异。在外语阅读教学中,教师应指导学生正确对待学习中的新的语言现象或模糊现象,提高对歧义的容忍程度。Ambiguity Tolerance plays an important role in the foreign language learning,which has aroused the researchers' interest.However,little research has been done about the relationship between tolerance of ambiguity and language learning strategies.This paper studies the influence of ambiguity tolerance on the selection of foreign language reading strategies with the questionnaires.The result is that students with different tolerance of ambiguity have the significant difference in selecting the reading strategies such as in how to deal with the new words in the reading materials,summarizing the main ideas and using the different reading skills.Furthermore,this paper points out the pedagogical implications of this study.
