摘　　要：以人为本是科学发展观的本质与核心,它的提出是以深刻的事实判断为基础的。本文认为,全面建设小康社会是以人为本提出的实践起点;现代化建设中的人本代价是以人为本提出的历史依据;社会发展规律的人本向度是以人为本提出的科学依据;社会主义本质是以人为本提出的内在要求。Taking mankind as root is the essence and core of scientific development and its appearance has its own basis. This paper thinks that building a comfortable society is its starting point of practice; modern construction is its historical basis; mankind as root in social law of development is its scientific basis; and socialist essence is its inner demand.
