摘  要:为了提高红外焦平面阵列的成像质量,提出一种基于自适应非线性滤波器与直方图均衡相结合的红外图像增强算法,该算法利用自适应非线性滤波器抑制噪声,并通过直方图均衡对红外图像进行增强处理,提高了红外图像的对比度,有效地提高了红外图像的成像质量。实验结果表明,利用此算法增强后的红外图像视觉效果清晰,细节完整,达到设计要求。A novel effective algorithm for enhancing infrared image quality is presented which is based on a special combination of an adaptive nonlinear filter and histogram equalization. Nonlinear filtering technique is used for the suppression of noise, and the image enhancement procession is implemented after the suppression of noise of infrared focal plane arrays (IRFPA) by using histogram equalization. The new method can both suppress the noise effectively of IRFPA and increase the contrast of the infrared image in order to improve infrared image quality. Simulations indicate that the infrared image signals details and edges are preserved and the vision effect is ideal after the new method processing.
