摘　　要：培养熟练使用英语进行交流的科技人才,是我国高等教育的目标之一。本文提出英语学习应贯穿于本科、硕士研究生乃至博士研究生全部过程,而英语科技文献阅读具有重要作用。本文就阅读英语科技文献的意义和阅读方法两个方面进行了讨论,就如何整体把握、局部突破科技英语进行了详细的分析和介绍。One of the aims of the higher education in China is to train the academicians to be proficiency in communication in English. This paper presents that English practice should be penetrated from undergraduate to graduate, even to Ph.D phases, for which the scientific and technological literatures are very helpful. This paper discusses on the significance and some skills of reading scientific and technological literatures, a useful approach of integration macroscopic understanding and microcosmic breakthrough is introduced and analyzed.
