摘　　要：《从清晨到午夜》虽是格奥尔格·凯泽对表现主义戏剧的初次尝试,却成了该流派的经典作品。该作品以人精神上的新生或复活为主题,努力探寻力图摆脱金钱势利的"新人",他致力于描写人性的艰难复苏,并模糊地憧憬理想社会的"新人"的诞生。Although From Morning to Midnight is Georg Kaiser s first attempt at expressionist drama,it becomes the classic of this genre.Themes of the masterwork focus on spiritual renascence or resurrection of humanity and the creation of a New Man who tries to break away from money snobbery.Kaiser is dedicated to portraying the hardship of humanistic resuscitation,and hazily looking forward to the New Man s birth of an ideal society.
