摘　　要：和平、发展、合作、共赢是当今时代的主题和未来世界的主要发展趋势,国家、组织之间加强交流,寻求合作和共谋发展是新时期的主要特点。新时期的发展要求对高校传统的外事管理工作的职能、机构、人才队伍和运行机制都构成了现实的挑战,应对这些挑战必须对现行高校的外事管理工作进行改革和完善。Peace, development, cooperation, and win-win are the themes of the present times and the main development trend of future world. Enhancing international and inter-organization exchanges and seeking for cooperation and common development are the main characteristics of the new era.
