摘　　要：任意性是索绪尔在提到语言符号时认定的第一个原则。但20世纪60年代开始,任意性观点受到了挑战和质疑。从语言历史的发展来看,语言的任意性和象似性是相辅相成辩证统一的,以互补的方式存在。The arbitrariness is the first principle that Saussure identifies language symbols.But starting in the 1960s,arbitrariness has been challenged and questioned.From the point of the development of language history,arbitrariness and iconicity of language complement each other and dialectical unity,existing with complementary.
