论双语词典中文化信息的处理

摘　　要：语言学习与文化学习是不可分离的整体。语言学习者要掌握好第二语言,必须具备充足的文化背景知识。而作为为英语学习者提供英语文化信息主要来源的英语词典,自然也应该对如何在英语学习词典中科学的设置相关文化信息内容这个问题给予相当的关注。本文从语言、文化和词典的关系及学习者语言习得需求角度阐述双语词典设置文化信息的必要性及其可能性,在此基础上通过大量实例说明英汉词典中设置文化信息的多种途径,以便双语词典的编纂者传递文化信息。Cultural information is an indispensible part in foreign language learning,thus,it is necessary for second language learners to know enough about the culture of their target language.As a major resourse to offer cultural information,bilingual dictionaries should include cultural information.This paper tries to provide a solution on how to organize cultural information as entries in bilingual dictionaries.This paper from the relationship between of the language,culture and dictionary and the needs of language acquisition of the learner to elaborate the necessity and possibility of bilingual dictionary to set cultural information.On this basis,through a large number of examples to explain a variety of ways to set culture information in English-Chinese dictionary,so that the compilation of bilingual dictionaries can transmit cultural information.
