摘　　要：英语,作为一门国际性的语言,在全世界得到了广泛的推广和重视。随着国际一体化进程的加快和对国际人才需求的增加,我国也开始加重了对英语教学的推进和研究。伴随着这一社会需求,1987年我国国家教育部高等教育司开始主持实施一项专门针对我国大学非英语专业本科生的英语测试,也就是大学英语四级,即CET-4,这一测试的目的为了推动对大学英语教学大纲的贯彻执行,同时对各大学生的英语能力予以一个客观、准确的测量,以有助于提高我国大学英语的教学质量,提高大学生的英语水平。English,has got broad extension and has taken seriously as international one language,in the whole world.Also,begin to have aggravated the propulsion to English teaching and study with international integration course being accelerated and to that increasing by,our country that international talented person needs.Be accompanying this one social demand,that our country country Ministry of Education higher education department begins to host the English testing putting one speciality into practice specifically for our country university is not an English special field college graduate in 1987,is just university English level Four,is CET-4,this one testing purpose implements for driving the outline teaching to university English's,measure at the same time objective,accurate to every English of the college student ability and with one,English level improving a college student with the quality of teaching helping improve university English.
