摘  要:Meta-cognitive learning strategies play an important role in enhancing learner autonomy and improving English proficiency.Based on a questionnaire,a study was conducted on meta-cognitive learning strategies employed by 60 students of non-English major coming from Beijing Information Science and Technology University and the study results reveal that the high-achieving students apply meta-cognitive learning strategies to their learning more frequently than the lower-scoring ones and meta-cognitive learning s...Meta-cognitive learning strategies play an important role in enhancing learner autonomy and improving English proficiency.Based on a questionnaire,a study was conducted on meta-cognitive learning strategies employed by 60 students of non-English major coming from Beijing Information Science and Technology University and the study results reveal that the high-achieving students apply meta-cognitive learning strategies to their learning more frequently than the lower-scoring ones and meta-cognitive learning strategies are correlated positively with English proficiency.
