试论中国大学“社会文明极”地位及其回归

摘　　要：大学的功能是探索真理、研究学问、创新知识、培养新人,其文明程度和文化程度总是整个社会的制高点;大学通过文化传播、规则传播、人才传播、制度传播等形式,扩散文明、引领社会文明进步,是"社会文明极"。但过度商业化的侵袭和改革滞后,使中国大学的"社会文明极"地位有所失落。必须通过重建大学理念、重塑大学宽松自由的办学环境、重构大学内部管理体制、重树大学校长的职务理想和文化自觉、重觅文人的"内省"传统等,使大学的"社会文明极"地位得以回归。The function of universities is to explore the truth,study the learning,innovate the knowledge and train new people,and the civilization degree and cultural degree are always the commanding heights of the whole society.Through the cultural communication,rule communication,talent communication and system communication system,universities spread the civilization,lead the social civilization and progress and are the social civilization extreme.But excessive commercialization and lag reform make the Chinese universities losing the status of social civilization extreme.We must rebuild the university idea,remodel the loose and free school environment,reconstruct the internal management system and the position and cultural consciousness of universities' president,re-build the introspection tradition,etc to make the universities return to the status of 'social civilization extreme'.
