摘　　要：新世纪给我国英语专业本科教育带来的不仅是机遇还有挑战。河北省内高校的英语专业课程设置大多结构狭窄,内容保守过时,远远不能满足社会发展对英语人才的需要。未来的改革可从以下几方面着手:适当改革相关专业知识课程;注重学生的专业实习工作;建立本科生导师制等。The new era brings not only opportunities but challenges as well to English majors of Chinese universities.In Hebei province,English professional curriculum of colleges mostly exists many problems,such as narrow structure,the conservative content,can't meet the social development need for English talents.The reform of the future should set up from the following several aspects: reform appropriately related professional knowledge course,pay attention to students' professional practice work,and establish the tutorial system,etc.
