摘　　要：文章分析了20世纪初德国"表现主义"绘画产生的原因,认为它是德国艺术家内在的"表现"诉求与19世纪现代艺术成果的新结合。它之所以在20世纪西方美术史上具有重要地位,是因为它既产生了大量杰出的作品,同时还有影响深远的艺术理论。The thesis analyses the cause behind the production of paintings 'impressionism' in Germany in the early 20th century and theorizes that it is an appeal to 'expression' in German' artists and a fresh combination with modern artistic result in the 19th century.It assumed an important position in the history of western fine art in the 20th century,for it produced a lot of outstanding works and theory of art with far-reaching significance.
