摘 要:《关雎》的性质问题,经过了从汉到宋到现代三个时期的演变。20世纪二三十年代以来,学界对《关雎》的价值判断发生了颠覆性变化,传统的"教化说"、"美刺说"遭到彻底批判和抛弃,取而代之的是朱熹的"民谣说",外加"人民性"。然而,《关雎》中的"君子"既不是古代青年男子的通称,采荇菜的"淑女"也不是"劳动人家的姑娘"。从周代礼乐文化层面考量,《关雎》中的"君子"只能是周天子或诸侯,《关雎》是一首敦劝教化的乐歌。《关雎》的礼乐教化意义主要表现在"发乎情,止乎礼义"、"风天下而正夫妇",以及"乐而不淫,哀而不伤"的乐教原则。The nature of Guan Ju has evolved through three time periods from Han Dynasty to Song Dynasty to modern times,during which the value judgments of Guan Ju brought up by academic circle have changed disruptively.The traditional'edification theory'and'beautiful thorn theory' were generally criticized and abandoned since 1920s-1930sand replaced by'folk music theory'by Zhu Xi and'folk character'.However,'gentleman',based on which'love song theory'and'folk character'analyze poems,is not a general term for young men in the ancient times,nor does'lady' refer to'agirl from a working family'.Given the rituals and music system in Zhou Dynasty,'gentleman'in Guan Ju can only be referred to the emperor of Zhou Dynasty or vassals.Guan Juis a song with accompaniment composed to edify people.The edifying meaning of Guan Ju manifests itself mainly in such music education principles as'start with love,end with virtue','edifying the people and disciplining the couples',and'joyous but not indecent,mournful but not distressing'.
