摘　　要：中国现代文学研究中提出的"民国文学"设想,是近年来学术的一大动向,也引发了一些质疑。这恰恰是中国学术迈向成熟的一种正常现象,所以,很有必要以这些争论和质疑为契机,对因"民国文学"产生的种种分歧和疑问作出认真分析和回应,以将讨论的问题引向深入。所追问的问题有三:提出"民国文学"而不是继续简单沿用"现代文学"究竟有什么特殊的意义,"民国"何谓?作为文学研究的一种概念,所谓"民国文学"究竟可以推进文学研究的什么,即"民国文学"何为?最后,对于正在倡导文学的"民国机制"而言,这样的研究方式究竟来自哪里?'Literature of the Republic of China',raised as a new idea in Chinese modern literature study,is one of the main trends of academic studies in recent years,and has caused some disputes as well.This,precisely,can be said to be a normal phenomenon indicating that the Chinese academic studies has become mature.Therefore,it is necessary to take these arguments and disputes as an opportunity to give careful analysis of and response to differences and questions to achieve a through discussion.There are three disputes.What is the special significance of putting forward 'Literature of Republic of China' instead of 'Modern Literature'? What is the purpose of studying the so-called 'Literature of Republic of China'? As far as 'Mechanism of Republic of China' advocating literature,What is the studying method of 'Literature of the Republic of China'?
