摘 要:客观地看新中国高等教育走过半个多世纪的发展历程,既有失败的教训也有成功的经验。1958-1960年"大跃进"运动的教训告诫我们,高等教育的发展不能超越国民经济承受能力的制约,违之必受到来自社会客观实际的惩罚。1999-2002年中国高等教育又试行了超常规跨越式发展,从表象上看虽然比教育部原定教育振兴计划提前8年迈进了高等教育大众化门槛,但是它还是超越了国民经济承受能力的制约,因此也仍然不能与中国社会的发展相和谐。未来中国高等教育要做到与社会和谐发展,应该走稳步攀升持续性自然增长之路,到新中国成立100周年之时,中国高等教育力争能跨入普及化门槛,进入教育发达国家行列,从一个落后的教育大国真正成为世界教育强国。Objectively,seeing the developing course of the new China's higher education in more than half century,we have obtained not only the lessons of failure as well as the experience of success.The lesson learned from the 'Great Leap Forward' movement from 1958 to 1960 warned us that the development of the higher education could not exceed the capacity of the national economy's control.If against it,we would receive the punishment from social objective reality.And from 1999 to 2002,China's higher education tried out the leaping development by leaps and bounds.Although it seems 8 years's earlier than the promoting plan the Ministry of Education had planned to forge ahead the popular threshold,it still exceeded the capacity of the national economy's control,so it can not be harmonious with the development of China's society.In future,China's higher education should be in harmony with the society and walk the steady climbed continuing natural growing path.By the time that the new China has founded for 100 years,we should try our best to ensure that China's higher education has entered into the popularizing threshold,has gone into the ranks whose education is very advanced,and that,China becomes a world powerful country in education from a large backward educational one.
