摘　　要：首先阐明了数学方法在情报科学研究中的重要性 ,通过其在文献计量学、情报检索和情报产品的评价中的应用 ,提出应使数学方法与情报科学研究紧密融合 。The article describes the importance of mathmatics in information science.Through the usage of mathmatics in bibliometrics,information retrieval and evaluation of information products the author puts forward that we should combine the mathmatics with information science so that speed the development of information science.
