摘 要:本文对早期颜色恒常理论、系数理论、计算理论和 Octant模型作了简要回顾 ,并结合已有的研究成果进行评述。对影响颜色恒常性机制的主要因素进行了探讨。强调了知觉经验、记忆、认知决策等高级意识活动对颜色恒常知觉的作用 ,并尝试性地提出了描述颜色恒常知觉过程的一般参照框架。Color constancy is one of the most attractive topics in color research. This paper briefly reviewed coefficient theory, computational theory and Octant model. As supposed by Helmholtz, Color constancy resulted from people's capacity of judging color of objects while eliminating changes of illumination. Hering emphasized that color in human memory played an important role in color constancy. Von Kies assumed that change of sensitivity of the three receptors on retinal compensated illumination change. Land proposed a new computational theory, retinex theory, to describe the mechanism of color perception. He suggested that color constancy had nothing to do with illumination but with the relationship between reflection coefficients of two object surfaces. Octant model (Mausfeld and Niederee ) postulates a different multiple surround-dependent transformation for incremental and decrement stimuli. It stressed that sensitivity (including light sensitivity and chromatic sensitivity), color contrast especially local contrast in cone, and human cognitive factors such as human memory and decision making played important roles on color constancy. On the base of a summary of these theories and studies, a model was tentatively put forward to explain the mechanism of color constancy.
