摘　　要：两个最年轻的当代文体学派别评介北京大学教授申丹一、有关文体学派别的区分１９５８年在美国印地安那大学召开的文体学研讨会，标志着当代文体学的诞生。近４０年来，由于在研究对象、所采用的语言学模式或研究目的等方面的差异，文体学形成了纷呈不一的派别。在《语言、...Abstract With a preliminary discussion of the criteria for distinguishing stylistic branches paving the way ,the present paper offers a critical introduction of the nature,function and characteristics of two youngest branches of contemporary stylistics;discourse stylistics and socio-historical/socio-cultural stylistics, The critical edge of the paper is particularly directed at the latter's categorical rejection of stylistic investigation of aesthetic values,its terming such investigation irresponsible and reactionary.Such“political correctness”finds its counterpart in the ultra-“Left” trend of thought during the Chinese Cultural Revolution, which taught us a bitter historical lesson,a lesson well worthy to be drawn by today's Western radical academics.
