编制我国《国家妇女地图集》的必要性、可行性分析及初步设想

摘　　要：中国是世界上的人口大国,妇女的人口数也很多,中国妇女在中国和世界的作用不容忽视,让妇女了解自己、让政府了解妇女、让世界了解中国妇女,《国家妇女地图集》在其中将发挥重要作用。出版《国家妇女地图集》将会遇到许多问题,本文旨在论证编制《国家妇女地图集》的必要性和可行性,初步设计出《国家妇女地图集》的指标体系和内容结构,希望能引起广泛关注,有更多的有识之士参与研究和讨论,使《国家妇女地图集》早日出版。China is the most populous country in the world. It has also a very large female population. The role of Chinese women in China and also in the world is not to be overlooked. The National Women's Atlas, therefore, will go a long way toward getting women to know about themselves, the government to know about women and the world to know about Chinese women. Publication of such an atlas will certainly be beset with difficulties. This essay, aimed at discussing the necessity and feasibility of compiling The National Women's Atlas, has initially conceived the index system and composition of contents for the atlas, in the hope that it will arouse widespread attention and lure farsighted persons to participate in research and discussion and enable the atlas to come out at an early date.
