摘　　要：概说江苏省仪征市在长江下游的北岸,境内南部临江,地势平坦开阔,北部属蜀岗小丘陵地带,低山丘陵蜿蜒起伏。张集乡位于仪征境內蜀岗小丘陵的东端,东北距扬州市区约12公里,西南距仪征市区约20公里,与邗江县杨庙乡毗邻。Tuanshan is a small hill lying in the northern area of Yizheng City, Jiangsu and at the eastern end of the Shugang Hills. On the hill, four Western Han tombs were successively discovered in 1989—90, when workers of the Brickyard, Zhangji Township Tea Plantation dug there for earth. Here are published the data of the graves. These tombs are built near the top of 'he hill, arranged in a row from north to south and all facing to the north. All of them are wooden-chambered earthern pits in a good state of preservation as the chamber is covered, nderlaid and enclosed with green clay. Tomb 1 is the largest and despest, measuring 6.2m in length, 4.2m in width and 4.5 m in present-day depth; Tomb 4, the smallest, 3.2 m, 2.3 m and 3.7 m respectively; the size of Tombs 2 and 3 is between the above two. Tomh 1 is also the most complicated in structure. Its wooden chamber is partitioned into four side cabins and a central coffin cabin. Tombs 7 and 3 both have two side cabins and a coffin one; Tomb 4 has no side cabins, and the room within the chamber is all for coffin. Besides, Tomb 1 is the first in funeral objects, the rest come one after another by their numbers. The grave goods include mainly glazed pottery ding tripods, basins, pots and iars and lacquered cups with ears, dishes and toilet boxes; in addition Tomb 1 contains a pottery bell and pottery chimes, bronze mirrors and small bells, jade huang ornaments, and some ten thousands of pottery banliang coins. The human skeletons from the tombs are identified as the remains of young and middle-aged females. Judging from the tomb shape, the characteristic features of the grave goods and the brand 'Dongyang 东阳' on lacquered objects, the tombs can be assigned to the time from Emperor Jingdi's reign to the early years of Emperor Wudi's reign. These in combination with related records in 'Biographies of the Thirteen Princes in Emperor Jingdi's Region' of the History of Han (《汉书·景十三王传》) and in the geographical book Kuo Di Zhi (《括地志》)
