摘　　要：以乌托邦为主题的文学作品可以有多重研究视角。本文尝试从语际与符际翻译层面探讨陶渊明《桃花源记》的绘画与英文翻译、詹姆斯·希尔顿《消失的地平线》的中文翻译,以及两部著作的影像,以此剖析"桃花源"与"香格里拉"的多模态的叙事建构与跨文化传播渠道。需要指出的是,乌托邦的精神世界呈现为物质化的影像并生成新的文化空间时,其符号原型容易遭到解构乃至消失,因而当下对文学乌托邦的多媒质接受提出了更高的鉴赏智资。Literary works with the theme of Utopia can be studied from multiple perspectives, among which are inter-lingual translation and inter-semiotic translation. The paintings and English translation of Tao Yuanming's Tao Hua Yuan Ji, the Chinese translation of James Hilton's Lost Horizon, together with their animations or films, contribute to an analysis of'Tao Hua Yuan'and'Shangri-La'in the channels of multi-modal narrative construction and cross-cultural communication. However, once the utopian spirit was rendered as an image in materialistic world, its semiotic prototype is likely to be deconstructed or even fad-ed. Therefore, the reception of current multi-media literary utopia calls for a higher intellectual talent.
