摘　　要：两难之间：在华基督教差会早期的本土布道员孔祥涛本土布道员处于中西民族矛盾和文化冲突的焦点位置。他们与吃教者不同，入教乃是出于真正的信仰，经过了理性的选择，故能成为中国基督教的基石。但因幼稚步入误区，自以为找到了个人得救之路和救世之道，却屡遭教外同胞非...Historically, the native preachers were in a focal position of national contradictions and cultural conflicts between China and the West, they were different from those who lived on the Christian Church in that their conversion to Christianity originated from their real belief and by their rational selection, and therefore they were able to become the cornerstone of Christianity in China. But they were misled by their naiveness, they regarded their conversion as finding out the way for redemption of the individual and the world, and yet they were blamed and attacked by their non-Christian compatriots repeatedly, and relapsed into painfulness and puzzlement. This is an epitome of the national tragedy in that time. The descendants of those Christians drew their lessons from the failure of their forerunners, became mature , and founded out a way leading to success.
