摘　　要：1995年11月,北京市文物研究所和北京大学考古学系联合对琉璃河遗址墓葬区进行了小规模发掘,墓葬发掘点位于京广铁路以西、黄土坡村一居民点的东侧,属原墓葬分区的Ⅰ区,现属琉璃河遗址统一规划的F15区。本次发掘了南北向10×10米探方两个,实际揭露面积171.5平方米,北T1709包括6座墓葬(M1～M5、M10)和4座灰坑(H3～H6)等;南T1708包括4座墓葬(M6～M9)Archaeologists from the Institute of Archaeology of Beijing University excavated a cemetery at the Liulihe site in December of 1995. The 10 excavated tombs of the Western Zhou dynasty, arranged roughly in two rows,are all vertical earthen shafts of a rectangular plan. The biggest of them, coded as Tomb 2, contains two lacquered coffins encased in a coffin chamber. Three tomb victims, all girls in their early teenage, and victim dogs are found in the tomb. These tombs yield large amounts of funeral objects, inchuding pottery, proto-porcelain,jade, bone artifacts and over one thousand shells, Above the heads of the tomb owners and victims of Tomb 2 are found pottery pipes, stone beads in different colors, agate beads, discs made of shell, strings of perforated shells, etc. The tombs demonstrate an evident purposeful arrangement, The li-vessels unearthed are mainly ones with bag-like legs and hard feet, indicating that the tomb owner ethnically belonged to the Yan rather than Yin people.
