摘　　要：吉岗地处丹江水库东岸,位于淅川县城东南香花乡宋岗码头西北约2公里处的白岗岭上,地势东高西低,西端伸向丹江水库内,From May 1991 to May 1992, Henan Provincial Institutes of Archaeology and others found 75 small tombs of the Chu State of the middle warring States through investigation on the Baigang Ridge, and excavated 5 at jigang, Xichuan County, Henan. The tombs were all pit tombs. The five digged ones were furnished more than 50 artifacts, most were pottery vessels, bronze remains were few. The pottery combination were Ding tripod, dou stemmed cup, Hu kettle and Dun pot; Ding tripod, Hu kettle and Dun pot. Those 75 tombs were situated on the Baigang Ridge from west to east. The author considered that those were the tombs of the Chu State died in the war between Qin and Chu States based on the documents and the characteristics of the remains.
