摘　　要：扬州自古与竹就有不解之缘,竹是扬州的特色和"知名"植物,竹是扬州的象征。本文探讨了竹子与扬州的园林、绘画、人居等方面的关系,揭示了竹在扬州人居生活、文化内涵和城市发展中的影响。扬州园林中的个园、竹西芳径、锦泉花屿之绿竹轩、筱园、大禹风景竹园等都是以竹为名、以竹景出色。"扬州八怪"借竹画托物寄志,抒发胸臆,下笔自成一家,形成了一个流派——"扬州画派"。扬州毛笔、扬州清曲、扬州道情、扬州灯彩等入选国家或江苏省非物质文化遗产名录无不与竹相关。竹渗透到了扬州人的物质和精神生活之中,竹文化是扬州文化的重要组成部分。Yangzhou has been famous for bamboo since ancient time.As a landmark plant,bamboo is a name card of Yangzhou.This paper discusses the application of bamboo in the garden,painting,and residential environment of Yangzhou,and reveals its impacts on the living,culture and city development.The well known gardens like Ge Yuan garden,Zhuxi Fangjing garden,Xiaoyuan garden etc.in Yangzhou are characterized by bamboo.The Yangzhou eight eccentric artists,are featured by painting bamboo to express their love,passion,sentiment and aspiration.They have created the distinguished Yangzhou painting style.The Yangzhou writing brush,Yangzhou Qingqü(a kind of local opera),Yangzhou Daoqing(a kind of local music entertainment),and Yangzhou Lantern arts have been listed as national or provincial Intangible Cultural Heritages,which are closely related to the bamboo.The bamboo merges with material and spiritual life of Yangzhou people.Bamboo culture is one of the most important elements of Yangzhou culture.
