摘　　要：周淑禧(1624～约1705年),又作周禧,号江上女子,江苏江阴人,嫁给了同乡的黄生。其姊周淑祜,生卒年不详,主要活动于明天启至清顺治年间。是文学家潘圣瑞的妻子。其父周荣起(1600～1686年)字研农,一作砚农,为江阴县诸生,工于诗文、篆书,擅绘江南迷蒙之景。祜、禧姊妹生性聪慧,自幼在父亲的支持鼓励下学习书画,及长,遂“以丹青著,花卉虫鸟,用笔如春蚕吐丝,设色鲜丽,气韵生动。The sisters, by the name of Shuxi and Shuhu were south China painters straddling Ming and Qing dynasties. The present essay talks about their coauthored album of Buddhist portraiturs. The album consists of 32 paintings and each painting bears the inscription by the painters' father, Zhou Rongqi. The chubby figures are made of lines and colors in an expressive way. Zhou Rongqi's postscript tells the whole story about the paintings. The album is in the collection of the Palace Museum, and the present essay publishes four pieces of it for the first time.
