摘　　要：美国农业的两次大突破及其基本经验张友伦美国不仅是工业高度发达的国家，而且也是当今世界最先进的农业大国之一。其农产品的数量和农业劳动生产率都达到了很高的水平，居于世界的最前列。每一个农业人口生产的农产品可以满足８０个人的需要。农产品的价格也十分低廉。...AbstractThe development of American agriculture underwent two major breakthroughs, namely, the agricultural revolution of the 1860s which accelerated land reclamation in the West and enlarged the farming area and the agricultural revolution before the WWII which helped bring about the mechanization of farm work. The two breakthroughs rode on the wave of industrial and technological revolutions of the day and promoted agricultural education and R & D which deepened, in turn, the revolution in agriculture. As a result, American agriculture becomes a highly effective one in the world after the second breakthrough.
