儒学中民本位与君本位的悖论

摘  要:儒家的"民本"学说比较富于人民性,在历史上起了一定的进步作用,但其学说中又包含着浓重的君本因素,不具备民主的基本属性,与民主是不同质的范畴。这种悖论的存在,既有社会历史方面的客观原因,也有儒家学理缺陷方面的主观原因。对于中国缺乏民主传统,认为儒家全无责任或把责任完全归咎于儒家,都是不客观的。对儒学遗产应当运用科学的方法作历史的、辩证的分析,力戒简单化和绝对化。The theory of'people-oriented'of Confucianism was comparatively rich in affinity to the people and had played a progressive role in history.However,this theory also included a lot of thoughts of'monarch-oriented',which did not have the fundamental property of democracy and belonged to another democracy with different nature.The existence of such a paradox had both objective reasons in historical society,and subjective reasons of defects within Confucianism.However,it is not objective to conclude that China lacks the tradition of democracy and Confucians had no responsibility or Confucians should be to blame completely.The study of Confucian heritage should be done historically and dialectically with scientific methods,and total simplification or absolutization should be avoided.
