摘　　要：采用TI公司的TMS320C6713型号DSP开发板和三星公司的2410开发板设计了一个嵌入式网络视频监控系统。实时视频监控数据量多,压缩的计算量较大,采用DSP进行压缩可以发挥其速度快的特点。为了方便视频数据的传输和存储,实现监控系统的网络化,在ARM上移植嵌入式Linux来满足要求。同时该系统在客户端支持对视频数据的检索,用户可以快速找到自己想要观看的视频点,不必去浏览整个视频文件。A system of network video surveillance that used Digital Signal Processor(DSP) and Advanced RISC Machines(ARM) was designed.Because of the enormous dataflow of real-time video stream,also the large amount calculation of compression,DSP is a good choice for this system.To facilitate transmission and storage of the video stream,a embedded operation system of Linux for ARM was transplanted to meet the requirements.This system can also support video retrieval in the client end,users can quickly find what themselves want to watch,do not have to browse the entire video file.
