间质内应用BCNU缓释剂治疗恶性脑胶质瘤

摘　　要：胶质瘤的局部缓释化疗是全新的治疗方法,国外已制成3.85%的BCNU缓释剂用于临床。目前BC-NU缓释剂间质内化疗的临床效果仍存在争议。多数临床研究表明恶性胶质瘤植入BCNU缓释剂是安全的,至少在部分病人是有效的,但最近有人对这一方法的有效性提出了怀疑,并指出BCNU缓释剂可引起并发症。综合目前研究的证据,我们认为,应用BCNU缓释剂间质内化疗是治疗恶性胶质瘤的一种有效辅助治疗手段、Use of interstitial BCNU wafers in the treatment of malignant glioma is currently a new develop-ment of biodegradable wafers for interstitial therapy within the brain. But it is still a controversial topic among neuro-surgeons. Initial clinical studies indicated implantation of BCNU wafers into the postoperative tumor bed to be an acceptably safe, partially effective treatment for glioblastoma multiforme. Yet a more recent study has put the effica-cy of this treatment in doubt. This article presents a review of the information presently available in BCNU wafers to aid in the clinical decision-making process. Based on current study, interstitial chemotherapy of BCNU poly-mers continues to be an option for treating malignant glioma.
