摘 要:对任何时代的军事作战而言,建立一个战场详图对军事行动的胜负生死攸关。这个详图是指挥员了解战场态势、指挥部队行动的依据。在现代战争中,传统的作业方式无法满足信息化条件下作战指挥的需求,因此充分利用虚拟现实以及计算机图形学最新成果的战场可视化系统应运而生。本文将对战场可视化产生的背景、定义、功能及应用做详细的分析、阐述。Gaining a detailed picture of a battlefield is vital for the success of a military operation. This picture is used to direct the movement of assets and materiel over rugged terrain, day and night, in uncertain weather conditions, taking account of possible enemy locations and activity. Traditionally, mission planners have received written or vocal reports which have been transcribed onto maps using grease proof pencils and acetate overlays. However, these methods are slow and inaccurate, and can not meet the need for operational command of information war. So, battlefield visualizationsystem based on VR (Virtual Reality) and CG (Computer Graphics) is developed. In this article, its background, definition, function and application are described carefully.
