摘　　要：由中国工艺美术学会雕塑专业委员会和上海一壶宽艺苑主办的《首届中国现代陶艺展》是对目前国内陶艺水平的一次检阅。看到异彩纷呈,琳琅满目的现代陶艺作品,不觉有感于衷,而舒怀于下。 一、陶与人 象风雨与大地,雷鸣与闪电一样,陶土与人都是自然界生命的一分子,在无穷尽的岁月里,我们的祖先用脚下的泥土创造出五千年的中华陶瓷文明史,那些由历代无名工匠不惜耗费青春年华留给后人丰厚的陶瓷艺术遗产。Modern pottery has changed from its role as an article for daily use to pure artistic and cultural form which integrates more of an artist's points of views and emotions, and give expression to the mental outlook and connotation of the people in our time. At present, pottery making is not just a job of an artist, it is involving more and more common people who seek pleasure and experience life from pottery clay.
