摘　　要：Founded in 1982, the China Clothing Design and Research Center (CCDRC) has devoted itself to tile technical advancement of the clothing industry in China. During the past decade, it has undertaken studies on a series of state key science and technological development projects relating to clothing making, including some high-tech ones. It set up the State Clothing Design and Clothing Making Technological Research Centre and the State Clothing Making Industrial Productivity Promotion Centre, and in 1992 the China Clothing Design and Research Centre Group was formed and registered with the State Administration of Industry and Commerce,
