Short-Term Therapeutic Efficacy of Recombinant Alpha-2b Interferon on Patients with Posttransfusion Hepatitis C

摘　　要：Thebiochemicalandvirologicalefficaciesofrecombinantalpha-2bin-terferon(rINFα-2b)wereobservedon30patientswithpostransfusionhepatitisC.Theresultsshowedthatupto3monthsaftertheendoftherapytheALTnormalizationratewas72%andHCV-RNAdisappearanceratewas53.3%.Theresponsepredictoranal-ysisrevealedthatpatients′sex,ageandthedurationbetweenclinicalonsetandbegin-ningofIFNtherapywerenotmeaningfulfactors,whiletheinitialtiterofHCV-RNAandthedurationbetwenblodtransfusionandclinicalonsetbothafectedtheefficacysignificantly.HCVgenotypingshowedthat30patientswerealinfectedwithHCVgenotypeⅡ,indicatingthattheresponsetoIFNcouldbeinconsistentevenamongpa-tientswhoinfectedwithsamegenotypeofHCV.ItwasalsofoundthatthediscrepancybetwenbiochemicalandvirologicalresponsestoINFexistedandthatanti-HCVdetect-edbythesecondgenerationkitwasoflitlevalueinevaluatingtheeficacyofINFtherapy.Thebiochemicalandvirologicalefficaciesofrecombinantalpha-2bin-terferon(rINFα-2b)wereobservedon30patientswithpostransfusionhepatitisC.Theresultsshowedthatupto3monthsaftertheendoftherapytheALTnormalizationratewas72%andHCV-RNAdisappearanceratewas53.3%.Theresponsepredictoranal-ysisrevealedthatpatients′sex,ageandthedurationbetweenclinicalonsetandbegin-ningofIFNtherapywerenotmeaningfulfactors,whiletheinitialtiterofHCV-RNAandthedurationbetwenblodtransfusionandclinicalonsetbothafectedtheefficacysignificantly.HCVgenotypingshowedthat30patientswerealinfectedwithHCVgenotypeⅡ,indicatingthattheresponsetoIFNcouldbeinconsistentevenamongpa-tientswhoinfectedwithsamegenotypeofHCV.ItwasalsofoundthatthediscrepancybetwenbiochemicalandvirologicalresponsestoINFexistedandthatanti-HCVdetect-edbythesecondgenerationkitwasoflitlevalueinevaluatingtheeficacyofINFtherapy.
