摘 要:在人类文化艺术宝库中,西藏壁画艺术以其鲜明的东方美术特色和特有的艺术魅力傲立其间。从西藏壁画这个特定的视角,我们可以看到西藏历史的投影,从中领略西藏古老文化的殊胜风彩和藏民族独特的精神世界。佛教在西藏的传播与发展对西藏壁画艺术的直接影响西藏壁画艺术是随着佛教在西藏的传播而发展起来的。公元7世纪初,佛教正式传入西藏。由于上层统治者崇佛兴佛,佛教在民间广为传播,藏区修建寺庙和殿堂之风极盛。拉萨的大昭寺、小昭寺、布达拉宫等都兴建于这一时期。为了宣扬佛教教义,营造神秘的宗教氛围。The Tibetan mural painting results from the dissemination of Buddhism in Tibet. the murals in the temples and the paintings hung in the lecture halls are related to the advocation of Buddhistic doctrines and the creation of religious atmospheres. In some sense,the Tibetan murals are not only the artistic presentation of Buddhistic rites, power and dignity but also the carrier of the combination between natural beauty and religious ceremonial procedures. Compared with other Buddhistic paintings, the Tibetan mural painting is characterised by extensive themes, rich and varied craftmanships,and gorgeous colors. The pigments used are traditional opaque minerals. It seems that the drawing of the Tibetan murals is lack of personality. In fact, they embodiy the collective intelligence of the Tibetan. Therefore, the Tibetan mural painting can be viewed as an extraordinary environmental art.
