摘  要:Aggregation via noncovalent bonding is very common behavior of many macrocyclic conjugated molecules in condensed media (especially in aqueous solution). This phenomenon causes dramatic changes in the excited-state properties of molecules. Exciton theory has been developed to explain aggregation and numerous studies have been performed to account for its mechanism. However, the systematic knowledge about the effect of aggregation on the excited-state properties of aggregated system
