摘　　要：儿童文学名著《夏洛的网》不仅因其友谊主题深受读者喜爱,其经典性更体现在作者怀特在作品中隐含了对人类的道德关怀。通过列维纳斯的他者伦理学理论中的主体与他人的非对称关系、责任先于自由两方面分析《夏洛的网》中费恩与威尔伯、夏洛与威尔伯、威尔伯与夏洛的孩子之间的爱与责任,论证了主体在为他者负责任过程中成为独特的主体,并实现了自我价值。The classical children’s literature, Charlotte’s Web, gains great popularity not only in its unique description of friendship, but also in E.B. White’s moral concern for mankind which is hidden in the book. Based on two aspects of Levinas’ Other Ethics, namely, the asymmetric relation of subject and other and responsibility in advance of freedom, the paper analyzes the love and responsibility between Fern and Wilbur, Wilbur and Charlotte, Wilber and the offspring of Charlotte. It finally proves that the subject will become unique in the process of taking responsibility for the other and realizes its self-value.
