摘　　要：中西方体育之间的差异源于它们各自深厚的文化背景。中国传统体育强调礼仪、天人合一、修身养性,西方体育则侧重于健身和人体竞技,追求更快、更强和人定胜天。这种差异是由人的不同生活环境所决定的。深入了解中西方体育文化观和思维特点,能够为中华民族传统体育的国际化发展提供重要的理论支撑。The differences of Chinese and Western sports originate from their cultural backgrounds. In Chinese traditional sports,ceremony,heaven and man in one,self- cultivation are stressed,but in Western countries,fitness and athletic body are focused on. This kind of difference is determined by their different living conditions. Deeply understanding the different characteristics of the Chinese and Western sports can provide important theoretical support to the international development of Chinese traditional sports.
